The Shadow of Fixing is a 4-week, live, relational container for women who are starting to realize they don’t just “care a lot” or “try hard” in relationships and life… but that there’s something deeper running the show. A compulsive pattern of fixing, proving, over-loving, over-explaining, over-giving – almost like if you just anticipate everything well enough, love hard enough, or become better enough, you’ll finally feel safe, chosen, and at ease in yourself.
And what I want you to understand is that none of this is random. These patterns were learned. They were adaptive. At some point in your life, they made sense. They helped you stay connected, stay needed, stay safe. But over time, what once protected you starts to cost you – you begin abandoning yourself in real time just to maintain closeness, peace, or approval outside of you.
Inside this container, we don’t try to force those patterns to stop. We slow them down enough to actually see what’s underneath them. We trace them back to the younger parts of you who learned that love had to be earned through effort, emotional management, or self-sacrifice. And instead of judging that version of you or trying to “fix the fixer,” we begin to understand her. We build a different relationship with her so she doesn’t have to run your life from behind the scenes anymore.
This is a highly relational and experiential 4-week process, supported through daily journaling and twice-weekly live meetups. It asks you to show up with yourself in a way that most women aren’t used to anymore – not perfectly, not performatively, but consistently. Because one of the core expressions of this pattern is self-abandonment, and so the work begins with a simple but honest commitment: you come back to yourself every day for four weeks.
And I won’t lie to you – if you actually participate in this, you will not leave the same.
You’ll leave with:
• A clearer, embodied understanding of your core relational patterns and where they come from.
• A noticeably different relationship with your inner voice, especially the one that pressures, corrects, or over-functions.
• The ability to pause inside activation and respond instead of automatically reacting or fixing.
This is where awareness stops being something you think about – and starts becoming something you live from.

“I have been in a container with Angelique for many lessons. I did work with her on inner child, which cracked me open in a way i didn't know I needed. Gentle and also insightful she holds space in a way to show you how your reacting to things in present day the way your nervous system remembered things in the past but allows you to acknowledge and step through. It is different than talk therapy or really many of the other methods I have experienced. In addition her card readings give an insight that is applicable to how you are moving in the present. I highly recommend working with her if you want to access your best self...”
This is more than learning a modality – it’s a shift in how you experience energy, intuition, and your relationship with yourself.
I offer Usui Holy Fire® Reiki and Egyptian Reiki attunements through both private 1:1 experiences and intimate group trainings, often in collaboration with Lauren Davis.
Every path begins with Holy Fire Reiki, creating a grounded, coherent foundation before expanding into additional lineages.
These trainings are immersive, integrative, and deeply experiential. You won’t just learn techniques – you’ll begin to trust what moves through you, and how you move with it.
This work isn’t about forcing healing.
It’s about allowing alignment.
There is a kind of magic that only happens in community – the kind that expands you, reflects you, and reminds you that you were never meant to do this work alone.
At Inner Cynosure, collaboration is sacred. I deeply believe in the power of bringing people together – practitioners, seekers, space holders – each offering their own medicine, perspective, and presence. Whether I’m co-creating an event, speaking at a retreat, or stepping into someone else’s space to share this work, these experiences are designed to support collective expansion… not just individual growth.
These gatherings are intentional, dynamic, and often deeply transformative – because of the energy created when we come together in shared purpose.
When new collaboration events are announced, they’re first shared with our email community. You’ll also find a curated community board on the Inner Cynosure website featuring St. Louis-based practitioners (many of whom offer virtual sessions), so you can continue exploring and connecting beyond these spaces.
